  • Materials Selection and Testing: You identify scalable technical solutions—such as coatings, metals, composites, and elastomers—define product requirements, and independently develop them from initial concept to fully validated and specified technology components.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You work closely with system engineering, design, process engineering, and manufacturing teams to gather requirements, specify material systems, prepare documentation for integration, and advise colleagues on material choices during technical reviews.

  • Prototyping and Testing: You take a hands-on approach by building prototypes with the manufacturing team, conducting test campaigns with the testing team, and inspecting hardware directly on site.

  • Partner Collaboration: You act as the technical interface for development projects involving external partners, working with procurement to manage project setup, technical communication, progress tracking, and result reporting.

  • Communication and Presentation: You clearly and concisely communicate findings and observations to peers and present your work in technical reviews to support informed decision-making.
