Your mission

Job description

To support our Purchasing and Logistics team, we are looking for a Senior Global Category Manager for our Collector Containers


  • You manage the purchasing category Steel Structure and related commodities
  • You set up an international supplier network - mainly Europe - to deliver globally and to meet our challenging scale-up roadmap with up to tenfold capacity leaps
  • You onboard best-in-class suppliers to bring existing technology further
  • You contribute to price reductions due to the selection of the best suitable partners

Your story

Requirements
  • University degree (at least Bachelor) or similar diploma. Master/MBA is a big plus
  • 10+ years in Strategic Procurement of steel construction, mechanical engineering, assembly services (integrators) or comparable industries
  • Experienced in working at an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or EPC in steel construction industry
  • Deep technical knowledge and understanding of processes
  • Top negotiation skills in complex environments (framework agreements, LoI, etc.)
  • Excellent analytic and methodical skills and profound communication skills
  • Ease to lead suppliers and internal stakeholder tightly according Climeworks’ goals
  • Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary tasks
  • Stays focused and knows how to re-arrange priorities in a very dynamic environment
  • Strong ability to assert oneself if necessary
  • Great team player who feels comfortable in an international team
  • English (fluent in writing and speaking)
