Your mission

Job description
  • Your mission at Climeworks is to execute projects in accordance with the highest quality standards and that all deliverables meet Climeworks’ requirements.
  • You develop quality assurance and control processes and procedures and are responsible for implementing and maintaining them.
  • You monitor the performance of the EPC contractor and suppliers, and collaboration with the project team to resolve quality issues and non-compliance.
  • You contribute to the success of the EPC project by delivering a high-quality end product that meets Climeworks’ requirements.
  • You are responsible for the quality assurance and control of EPC contractors and their scope of work for EU Projects.
  • You present to EPC contractors and design quality control.
  • You create monthly project management reports.
  • You use up to date quality best practices and processes on Major/Mega Projects. 

Your story

Requirements
  • You completed a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related field, with a strong focus on EPC projects.
  • You have knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001, EN 1090-2, PED and the Machining Directive.
  • You also have thorough knowledge of Engineering, Supply Chain, Fabrication and Construction Quality.
  • You also gathered strong knowledge of plant equipment, materials, and construction processes, including inspection and NDE of the same.
  • You have a good understanding of Quality requirements related to pressure equipment and of Inspection & Test Planning.
  • You must have prior involvement in project completion and Turnover, and an understanding of applicable documentation requirements.
  • You also are expected to have experience working in an EPC environment and with working on at least one process engineering industry (refining, chemical, petro-chemical facilities and/or renewables industries’) sector project as an Owner or Owner's representative during Construction, Commissioning and Start-up.
  • You have a strong knowledge of construction legislation and regulation, standards, and codes.
  • You have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • You also have demonstrated that you have the ability to solve the hardest challenges during engineering, fabrication and construction before. 
  • You are business fluent in English and have excellent communication skills. 
  • You are motivated to travel up to 60%.
