Your mission

Job description
  • Your mission at Climeworks is to report to the Project Manager, the Project Planner develops and maintains (monitoring and updating) an integrated master schedule for each project to ensure successful development and execution of DAC plants.
  • You are responsible for preparing project progress and performance evaluation reports.
  • You identify potential scheduling delays and facilitate remedial action. 
  • You collaborate with project managers, technical project managers and department heads to develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule for each project to support proposals, project development and execution.
  • You work closely with Project Manager and team members to ensure schedules are accurate and comprehensive, and include milestones, activities and associated durations, dependencies, predecessors, successors, lag time, and all other pertinent project data to allow for monitoring and control.
  • You ensure accurate resource planning and validate schedule logic, activity durations, float allocation and critical path identification.
  • You liaise with the Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, Operations, Finance, Contractors and any other project specific stakeholders, whose actions may impact project plan/progress/schedule, to devise, agree and carry on any mitigation action.
  • You introduce a planning strategy for future major projects.
  • You prepare month end reports/corporate dashboards and management presentations.
  • You determine (with input from key stakeholders), implement and maintain planning and schedule software for Climeworks.
  • You develop and continue to improve upon, scheduling processes, templates, project status, status report and dashboards.
  • Implement and analyze KPI's to better understand and monitor the supply chain.

Your story

Requirements
  • You have a B.Sc. degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • You possess a demonstrated experience > 5-8 years of project experience in Project Planning and execution and professional use of project scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 to setup, maintain, monitor and report status of large CAPEX projects.
  • You demonstrated understanding of Earned Value (EV) management principles and their application to complex projects.
  • You have experience working in an EPC environment, as well as relevant knowledge working in at least one process engineering industry (refining, chemical, Petro-Chemical facilities and/or renewables industries)
  • You bring knowledge and experience in implementing industry standard change management processes.
  • You have onsite project experience and basic-knowledge in construction works.
  • You have experience working in an EPC environment.
  • You are a strong coordinator, communicator and collaborator.
  • You can direct contractors related to schedule control and change management.
  • Effective technical writing skills, structured and fast decision taker, strong problem-solving abilities.
  • You are willing and able to travel up to 30%, time at site required during construction and commissioning.
  • You are fluent in English; German would be a big plus.
