Your mission

Job description
  • Your mission is to enable a steep growth by accelerating US market penetration and positioning Climeworks as the number one solution for Direct Air Capture (DAC).
  • You establish Climeworks as the best-in-class DAC-solution for businesses and towards influencers by building a high performing sales organization in the US and hire top talents to enable a growth path across the industry sectors.
  • You develop CDR products for corporates and Go-To-Market strategies.
  • You define Climeworks’ customer target and prime prospect groups, acquire new leads, optimize conversion rates in sales funnel, and increase share of wallet with existing customers.
  • You drive internal awareness for the customer’s point of view and advocate for a customer-centric business management approach.
  • You create an inclusive, performance-driven team culture and coach both functional and soft skills.

Your story

Requirements
  • You have completed a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or in a related discipline.
  • You have at least 10 years’ experience in leadership/director roles in sales and gained experience in creating new markets and launching new products.
  • Preferably you have sold long term PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) to corporate customers and/or have experience in selling long term sales options.
  • You have experience with the build-up of organizations and processes and have an extensive network in the USA to C-level at Fortune 500 companies.
  • You have strong leadership skills with focus on being inspiring, system-thinking & harvesting collaborations.
  • You are purpose-driven, analytical, strategically strong, and a great negotiator.
  • You are motivated to travel on a regular basis to customers, industry & climate events, as well as to our Swiss headquarter in Zurich.
  • You are living in California, New York, Washington DC, Missouri, North Carolina, Georgia, Texas or are willing to relocate there for this position.


At Climeworks, we carefully consider market indicators to determine the compensation model for our positions. The salary range has been set by factors such as function, career level, and location and therefore may vary. The US base salary for this full-time position is typically $130,000-$210,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We use the recruitment process to determine your career level, job-related skills, and depth of experience to make an informed and fair salary offer.
