Climeworks removes CO₂ from the air to fight global warming and protect future generations to come.

We develop, build and operate direct air capture (DAC) machines which capture CO₂ directly from the air. The captured carbon dioxide is removed from the air by safely storing it underground, permanently.

Founded in 2009 by engineers, Christoph Gebald and Jan Wurzbacher, Climeworks was built with a mission to inspire 1 billion people to remove CO₂ from the air, and is now spearheading the DAC industry globally. Your mission

Job description
  • Your mission at Climeworks is to commission and handover the Mammoth DAC plant, ensuring on-schedule, sustainable operations to meet CO2/CDR production targets and uphold operational excellence globally.
  • You maintain a safe and compliant commissioning (safety culture without compromises).
  • You execute the assigned plant commissioning, and you manage work packages of the Mammoth and worldwide plant commissioning, Start Up and maintenance.
  • You support the commissioning of the Mammoth plant.
  • You maintain required processes and tools.

Your story

Requirements
  • You completed a technical apprenticeship or equivalent in the field of electrics.
  • You have at least 2 years of practical work experience, thereof at least 1 year in field work.
  • You have a good understanding of electrical systems.
  • You are experienced in EIC (electrical, instrumentation and controls).
  • You have the ability to read and correct electrical drawings and troubleshoot incidents.
  • You recognize and solve technical problems on site.
  • You are a self-reliant team player that is organized and structured.
  • You are business fluent in English.
  • You are willing to travel up to 80% including France, Iceland and Portugal.
