Your mission

Job description
  • You will join the dynamic development team and contribute to the development of next-generation Direct Air Capturing Products.
  • You will be responsible to perform lifetime, deformation and durability analyses of mechanical components and assemblies using Finite Element Method (FEM).
  • You will perform CFD analyses to predict and optimize media flow within components.
  • You closely collaborate with the design engineers to optimize designs and ensure that specified lifetime targets are achieved.
  • You provide advice to the designers concerning structural mechanical challenges and act as an expert advisor on the solution of Non-Conformances and manufacturing issues.
  • You plan, execute, document and evaluate validation measurements and are responsible for drawing relevant conclusions.
  • You will establish best practice methodologies within the team and consequentially develop analysis processes and procedures.

Your story

  • You are a proactive and innovative mechanical engineer with at least 5 years of experience in both FEM and CFD simulations.
  • You have proven experience in structural-mechanical FEM analyses, lifetime assessment and thermomechanical calculations (preferably ANSYS).
  • You are experienced in performing CFD simulations (eg. multiphase flow, porous media, fan analysis and heat losses calculations).
  • You are familiar with common standards such as Eurocode, Machinery Directive and FKM guidelines and can apply them independently.
  • You have a well-founded knowledge regarding structural materials and their physical and mechanical properties.
  • You have proficient English language skills.
