Your mission
Job description
Maintenance of DAC Machines: You maintain Climeworks’ proprietary Direct Air Capture (DAC) machines (Collector Containers – CCs) at the Orca and Mammoth facilities, working both in the field and in the workshop. These machines have been designed and built by Climeworks, allowing you to work with industry-leading technology.
Safety & Compliance: You ensure safe and compliant maintenance activities by fostering a safety culture without compromises.
Performance & Reliability: You focus on KPI-driven maintenance to ensure machine availability and reliability, maximizing CO₂ removal efficiency.
Support for Expansion: You contribute to the construction and commissioning of the Mammoth plant, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
Planned & Unplanned Maintenance: You execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work, to maintain operational excellence.
Optimization of Maintenance Processes: You plan and contribute to the development of maintenance regimes for the CCs, continuously improving efficiency and reliability.
Your story
Requirements
Technical Background: You have completed a technical apprenticeship or hold an equivalent qualification, ideally with a strong focus on mechanics while also possessing a solid understanding of electrics.
Professional Experience: You have relevant work experience in maintenance workshops, production workshops, or industrial plants.
Electro-Mechanical Expertise: You possess practical and technical knowledge of electro-mechanical machines such as pumps, turbines, compressors, and air separation units.
Industry Experience: Experience in power plants, gas process facilities, mining, refining, or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Hands-On Work: You plan and execute mechanical and/or electrical tasks with a hands-on approach.
Language & Mobility: You have business fluency in English and are open to travel.
