Your mission

Job description
  • Your mission at Climeworks is to efficiently operate and maintain our DAC plants, Orca & Mammoth, to produce over 30,000 tons of Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) from mid-2024 onwards. We're dedicated to sustainable practices, ensuring plant availability and meeting sales targets, all aligned with the Climeworks Vision of a sustainable future.
  • You maintain a safe and compliant plant operation, fostering a safety culture without compromises.

  • You plan and execute the assigned daily Orca & Mammoth Plants operation tasks and plant optimization projects.
  • You execute planned and unplanned maintenance works on the Orca & Mammoth Plants, focusing on instrumentation, electrical, and control systems equipment.
  • You plan and contribute to the development of maintenance regimes for instrumentation, electrical, and control systems equipment for Orca & Mammoth.
  • You operate and maintain the Orca & Mammoth Plants efficiently.
  • You support the construction and commissioning of the Mammoth Plant.
  • You ensure the maintenance of required processes and tools.

Your story

Requirements
  • You completed a technical apprenticeship or equivalent in the field of electrics.  
  • You possess over 6 years of practical work experience (post-apprenticeship) in operation and maintenance within the process engineering industry.  
  • You have demonstrated experience in operation and maintenance of instrumentation, control systems, and low voltage electrical systems.  
  • Your detailed technical knowledge and capabilities span process instrumentation, control equipment (such as valves), low voltage electrical systems, and DCS systems. You boast a proven track record in operation and maintenance within power, process, mining, refining, or pharmaceutical industries.  
  • You are adept at planning and performing hands-on electrical work.  
  • You excel as a strong coordinator, communicator, and collaborator.  
  • You exhibit qualities of self-reliance, organization, and structure.  
  • You are committed to continuous, persistent, and sustainable improvement.  
  • You are fluent in business English. 
  • You are willing to travel up to 40%.
