What do you use my money for?
The money from Climeworks Pioneers goes into a separate bank account and is recognized as revenue only upon delivery of the carbon removal services.
When buying CO₂ removal, we calculate and round your order in kilograms. Therefore, our system automatically adjusts the currency's value entered to get a rounded number of kilograms.
For example, if you enter 50 USD under the custom amount, the system could change it to 49.50 USD, rounding the number of kilograms to be removed to 33 kilograms of CO₂.
