Your mission

Job description
  • Sales Enablement: You support the team in managing the sales funnel efficiently to ensure smooth progression of opportunities and contribute to achieving Climeworks’ commercial goals. 

  • Strategic Partnerships: You assist senior sales managers with RFPs, presentations, customer portal activations, and communication campaigns. 

  • Sales Operations: You manage CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce experience is a plus), log customer details, offers, and orders, and ensure data quality across the sales funnel. 

  • Customer Success: You prepare materials and documentation for contracted carbon removal deliveries. 

  • Market Intelligence: You track carbon market trends, corporate procurement patterns, and competitive developments. 

  • Coordinate across functions: You handle, prioritize and answer our inbound sales channel, and collaborate with Legal and Finance on contracts, NDAs, and invoice management. 

  • Event & Engagements: You assist senior managers in organizing events and climate conferences. 

Your story

Requirements
  • Education & Career Aspiration: You are a recent graduate (ideally from a top-tier university) in sustainability, business, or a related field, having completed your studies within the past year, and eager to develop your skills in sales and commercial topics. 

  • Commercial Awareness: You have a good understanding of commercial dynamics, including contracts, business cases, and corporate decision-making. 

  • Climate Action & Sustainability: You are passionate about climate action and ideally bring prior exposure to carbon markets or sustainability initiatives. 

  • Technical Proficiency: You are tech-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, and possess strong presentation skills. 

  • Analytical Skills: You are analytical and detail-oriented, and able to turn complex data into actionable insights. 

  • Work Ethic & Mindset: You are self-driven, solutions-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. 

  • Communication Skills: You are a strong communicator in English, with German or other languages considered a plus.

What we offer:

At Climeworks, our six-month internships offer a hybrid work setup, giving you flexibility while ensuring valuable collaboration by working onsite at least three days per week. To maintain fairness, we follow a standardized salary process based on market benchmarks. For our internships based in Switzerland, the compensation is:

  • During BSc & MSc: CHF 2,000 per month

  • After completion of MSc: CHF 2,500 per month
