We develop, build and operate direct air capture (DAC) machines which capture CO₂ directly from the air. The captured carbon dioxide is removed from the air by safely storing it underground, permanently.

Your mission

Job description
  • Your mission as a Data Scientist/Analyst, is to play a key role in supporting plant operations to harness the full potential of data-driven insights, understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • You use statistical analysis and ML techniques to extract valuable insights from plant data and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • You maintain and enhance automated reports and dashboards to monitor plant performance and communicate findings and insights effectively.
  • You work in cross-function teams including plant operators, engineers, researchers, and other data scientists to analyze and interpret plant data to support plant optimization initiatives and support daily plant operation.
  • You set up and maintain ETL processes on our data platform to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility across different systems and platforms.
  • You analyze and interpret plant data to identify opportunities and methods to improve plant performance and support daily plant operation.
  • You stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and data engineering to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Your story

Requirements
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Process-, Chemical-, Mechanical-Engineering, or related fields.
  • You have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role with proven experience in large-scale plant operations or manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally you bring knowledge of plant operations processes and systems.
  • You have strong proficiency in data analysis using Python.
  • You bring experience with ML techniques, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
  • You feel confident in Data Engineering using SQL, Databricks. Azure is a strong plus.
  • You have proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving process improvements through data-driven analysis.
  • You bring excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges in an interdisciplinary work environment.
  • You are highly self-motivated, proactive, precise, and thrive on hands-on tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • You enjoy being a collaborative team player and are enthusiastic about contributing to a rapidly evolving environment.
  • You possess excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are fluent in English; German knowledge is a plus.
